Inspirational energy
Hosting, moderating, MCing is about energy and taking care of the relationship between the audience and the speakers on stage. On a very basic level that means making sure things happen on time, presenting speakers so that they are in the best conditions to express themselves, running Q&A sessions etc. However, what I believe my role is really all about is getting the audience to listen more, participate more, be more interactive, in other words inspiring them to be more present.
